About this route

Start at Gwanghwamun in the heart of Seoul, link the streets of Jongno and Bukchon, and a boxy puppy appears on the map — the Puppy Run. Palaces, hanok neighborhoods and the Cheonggyecheon stream are all along the way, so you draw and sightsee at the same time.

Start and finish are the same spot near Cheonggye Plaza, just south of the Gwanghwamun intersection. You run the puppy's outline once around.

Make a video on this route

  1. Tap Make a race video on this route above and the route opens in the app right away.
  2. Have your own recording? Drag the GPX/FIT file onto the map and race the sample as a virtual race.
  3. Open Race Video in the left panel and pick a format (9:16 for Reels and Shorts).
  4. With GPS art, the highlight is the moment the drawing is complete. Just before the finish the camera pulls back to show the whole finished picture.
  5. Add a text like "Seoul Gwanghwamun Puppy Run 🐶" to make it even more fun.
The route drawing and sample run (time, pace, heart rate) are examples generated from the map route. Before running it for real, check local conditions such as traffic lights, construction and closures.

Ran it and finished the drawing? Time to show it off.
