A rabbit hides in Tseung Kwan O, a new town on the east side of Hong Kong. Tall ears, a round face and a chubby body show up on the map. Because it is a planned town, the roads are straight and wide — much more comfortable than downtown Kowloon.
You start inside the drawing, run one big loop around the rabbit's outline and finish almost where you began.
How the drawing works
Ears — Two long turns up and back in the north of the route become the ears. The ear tips are the northernmost points.
Face — The curved streets below the ears form the cheeks and jaw.
Body and feet — The big bulge to the south is the round body, and the small bumps at the bottom are the feet.
Before you run
About 13.5 km (8.4 mi). Mostly wide sidewalks — a good fit for runners who regularly go 10K or more.
Mostly flat, with gentle climbs toward the edge of town.
Hong Kong is hot and humid. Mornings and evenings are best.
MTR stations are close to the route, so getting there and back is easy.

Tap Make a race video on this route above and the route opens in the app right away.
Have your own recording? Drag the GPX/FIT file onto the map and race the sample as a virtual race.
Open Race Video in the left panel and pick a format (9:16 for Reels and Shorts).
With GPS art, the highlight is the moment the drawing is complete. Just before the finish the camera pulls back to show the whole finished picture.
Add a text like "Hong Kong Rabbit Run 🐇" to make it even more fun.
The route drawing and sample run (time, pace, heart rate) are examples generated from the map route. Before running it for real, check local conditions such as traffic lights, construction and closures.
