How to Export a GPX File from Strava
Last updated: 2026-09-11
Everything you have recorded on Strava can be exported as GPX — free accounts included.
Export one activity (web)
- Open the activity on strava.com.
- Click the ⋯ (three-dot) menu on the left.
- Choose "Export GPX" — the download starts immediately.
If the activity was synced from a Garmin or COROS device, the same menu shows "Export Original" — usually a FIT file with richer sensor data.
Bulk-export your whole history
- Go to Settings → My Account.
- Under "Download or Delete Your Account", click "Get Started" (your account is NOT deleted — only complete step 1, the data request).
- You will get an email with a zip of all your activities as GPX/FIT files.
On mobile?
The Strava mobile app has no GPX export. Use your phone's browser to open strava.com and follow the web steps above.
Got your file? Time to show it off.
Upload it to racereplay.win and get a race replay video and share cards right in your browser. Free, no sign-up.
